Created in 2018, the MOVE association, located in the commune of Saint-Marcellin (Isère), works in the field of popular education and international mobility. The name ‘Move’, which translates as ‘bouger’ in French, does not just refer to crossing physical borders. Through travel and intercultural encounters, our norms and prejudices are shaken up and our internal borders are widened. So the mobility tool, as we use it, is aimed more at inner transformation and offers the opportunity to discover and educate oneself through encounters with others. Move is positioned in its area as a link between different associations and institutions, between young people and decision-makers. We work in the field of inclusion with the child protection department. Our active members are young social workers, most of whom have qualifications in this field. We therefore include in each of our projects young people who would not have the opportunity to take part in such projects without extra support.
